As I’m sure you’ve all heard by now, the nominations for the 2008 GAYVN Awards have been announced. To read the full list of nominees, head over to GayVNAwards.com. All of these new movies come with hot galleries in the Galleries section (duh), which also inspired us to pull out our former review of Black Scorpion’s brilliant Dreams of Rafael (in the Past Reviews section), just for the excuse to run some pics from that too.

Meanwhile, WoodyReviews.com writer Kevin Johnson has his second feature story for CyberSocket magazine in this month’s issue. They asked us about the “Top 25 Most Talked About Websites of 2007,” and you can read the full thing here. Dreadful, shocking news comes to us today from COLT Studio. Company head John Rutherford announced that Danny Roddick, star of Buckshot movies Boot Black Blues (pictured) and Brotherhood (which we only just watched yesterday), died suddenly on September 13, 2007.

As yet, details of the how and why have not been released, so we can only add our condolences and sorrow to that of the entire porn industry over the loss of this promising young star.
